Book Sellers
Let’s face it, you can’t find everything you want on Amazon,
or at your local Barnes and Nobel. Sure
those places are good for your basic texts, but what if you’re looking for something
a little more specialized? The following
are some places off the beaten path of book sellers that have untold gems in
their catalogs.
|
Alibris – Is a good beginning point for looking for any text. The site is specialized only in that the books presented are used. There are some gems out there and their stock changes continually. The bad thing is that their prices aren’t always the best. I’d check out E-bay or the Amazon used section before pressing the buy button.
Cornerstone E-Books – Presents a number of E-Books that one can download or get on CD-ROM. Their main text topics include Freemasonry and Rosicrucians.
Kessinger Publishing – Is the granddaddy of all esoteric book publishers. Their secret is reproducing rare out of print books at an affordable price. Their collections include just about any esoteric topic you’re looking for.
Lewis Masonic Books - Specializes in, well you know, Masonic books. They've got a good selection of ritual information and Masonic esoterica texts.
Ouroboros Press - William J. Kiesel is the publisher and editor of Ouroboros Press. They publish reprints of esoteric books as well as new releases. Ouroboros specializes in texts on Alchemy and Hermetic traditions. They also support the Serpent Bites It’s Tail blog which serves as a newsletter for the press.
Sacred Magick Esoteric Library – Here’s another E-Book seller of esoteric texts. Their main focus is Magical traditions, but they have some titles a Grail Seeker might be interested in as well.
