Gnostics ![]() The term Gnostic refers to a number of groups that the early church heretical. Attempting to put a single face on Gnosticism is like placing a unique tag on all the different modern Protestant denominations. However, these groups generally held the belief that knowledge of spiritual matters happened through unique experience and the keys to salvation were in the individual’s hands. The writings of different Gnostic authors have contributed to the modern Grail theory by presenting an alternative point of view to canonical Biblical texts. It is doubtful that your research will not lead you to some references to a Gnostic text or group. |

into Gnosticism. The Society itself is a religious organization and
articles tend to be based on their particular beliefs. The
Gnostic Teaching - Pairs gnosticism with just about every new age school of thought out there. If that type of thing is your bag, you'll be astrally projecting like an 1st Century heretic in no time.
The International Order of the Gnostic Templars - This is an organization started by author and new age mystic Mark Amaru Pinkham. According to the site their goal is, " The International Order of Gnostic Templars (IOGT) is a diverse group of men and women who are committed to assisting in the revival of both the Goddess Tradition (Divine Feminine) and the Gnostic path of knowing one's Self fully by experiencing our own Inner Wisdom." They claim a direct lineage to the medieval Templars as well.
The Internet Sacred Text Site - posts any number of texts relating to Gnosticism and the Early Church Fathers. According to the site, their goal is: " This site is a freely available archive of electronic texts about religion, mythology, legends and folklore, and occult and esoteric topics. Texts are presented in English translation and, where possible, in the original language."
